Ellie's second litter was born on August 2, 2018 by Dutch Champion Nuphar's In Full Swing. Her puppies with Tux were from a frozen semen breeding and we could not be happier with the six beautiful pups that were the results of our efforts. Two of their offspring have been shown in conformation and are pointed towards their championship. There are lots of photos and videos of the litter on our Facebook page and the litter is also chronicled on our blog. Ellie is now retired from our breeding program. We are so grateful for the two beautiful litters that she produced and can't wait to follow the adventures of her offspring.
Ellie was bred to Boomer (Northrock's All Night Boogie) and whelped 8 puppies on January 16th, 2017. She was a wonderful dam to her puppies and photos and videos are available on the blog and in their album on the Northrock Barbets Facebook page. It is a very nice litter and we look forward to watching her children grow up. Thanks to the co-operation and dedication of their owners, from this litter, four of the puppies have obtained their CKC Championships, one is also a UKC Champion (with a Reserve Best In Show to her credit), and three have earned their Canine Good Neighbour titles.
Ellie is fabulous Barbet who quickly endears herself to everyone she meets. Confident and outgoing she has no difficulty making friends. Her happy attitude and pretty movement caught the eye of several judges and we are grateful to them for recognizing her quality. In July of 2015 Ellie finished her Canadian Championship as a junior puppy winning two Best Puppy in Sporting Group placements along the way. Co-owned with Lise Pomeroy the two of them enjoy training in rally-obedience. In the spring of 2018 Ellie became a Therapy Dog with St. John Ambulance bringing much joy to those she visits with in her community.
